Okay, firstly, a catch up! Only for Ollie is now out in audio, and very, very slowly appearing in various places for purchase. So keep an eye out at your favourite retailer! I love this story so much, and Gary did a truly brilliant job, as always! Meanwhile, J.A. Rock and I are hard at work at getting all the Bucknall novels into audio, so we'll be updating that as soon as we have more news. We're also hard at work writing new novels, the first of which is a wonderful story about a guy who could really use a Christmas miracle. It's called Fran Cuthbert Ruins Christmas, and it'll be available for preorder sometime in the next few days.
And in exciting news, I've just signed a contract with Level Best Books for my Roman murder mystery Sub Rosa. It's not an mm romance, so I'm gonna be publishing under a different name (my real name, which feels weird). BUT, there is a very, very slow burn queer romance between my two MCs, which I am beyond delighted to be writing, so if you like your whodunnits with a little bit of theydidits, then I think you're gonna like this one. It's not out until late next year, but I would love it if you could go and give my series page some likes (even though there's not much there yet) and for anyone who's interested in following both Lisa Henry AND Jennifer Burke, I'll be dropping links to the website and newsletter and twitter and what have you as I get them established. You can find the Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100086110940529 The website here: https://www.jenniferburkebooks.com/ My Goodreads here: https://www.goodreads.com/jenniferburkebooks And my Twitter here: https://twitter.com/JenBurkeBooks I'll still keep writing mm romance, of course! JA Rock and I have big plans for a series next year. So if whodunnits aren't your thing, that's okay, because I'm not going anywhere!

Only for Ollie is out now! You can find it here at Amazon.
Releasing a book is always a bit of a scary time, even though I've done it a bunch of times before, but the first reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, and I'm just so delighted that people are loving awkward, chatty Ollie and Xander "For the love of all that is holy, use your goddamn words" Finch. These two are definitely opposites attract, and it's got nothing to do with the fact that Xander is rich and Ollie is living in his car when the story begins. It was a lot of fun watching Xander realise there was more to life than racing, and that maybe a talkative, slightly klutzy massage therapist was exactly what he needed. |
